The powerful Dyson V8 is one of the most popular cordless vacuums in their robust lineup. It has enough power for any type of floor and a fully sealed filtration system that can trap even the smallest of allergens. While there isn’t much that can stop the V8 from deep cleaning your home, the one thing that can is a bad battery. There will come a time when the lithium ion battery needs to be replaced.
It is true that the Dyson does not have easily removable batteries for charging like some of the other brands, but you can still replace them if needed. All it takes is a screw driver and a couple of minutes. Here is a quick video that demonstrates the whole process to show you just how easy it is. This is not a task that should intimidate or overwhelm you at all.
It would be great if Dyson made quickly removable battery packs for their cordless vacuum cleaners (maybe a future enhancement). Until then the process of swapping a dead battery is about as seamless as can be.
