How To Maintain Tineco iFloor

The Tineco iFloor is a cordless wet dry vacuum that lets you vacuum and wash your floors all at the same time. It has a wide variety of features for ridding your hard floors of dirt and other grime including fade-free power via a lithium ion battery, a tough ‘Spot Mode’ setting, a self cleaning brush roll, a lightweight design, and a flexible rotating brush head that lets you reach those tough corners.

While it does a tremendous job at cleaning your flooring there are some steps you need to do to keep it operating just like it was the day you brought it home. By following a few simple steps you will experience virtually no performance loss. It is recommended by Tineco to perform the following tasks on a regular basis:

  • Release the dirty water tank and pour out the water/debris
  • Use the included cleaning tool to scrub the inside
  • Remove the pre-filter and rinse it clean with fresh water
  • Remove the filter from the tank lid, pull out the floater, and rinse both with fresh water
  • To start the brush roll self cleaning mode, make sure the water tank is 1/3 full and hold the switch button for 3 seconds
  • The iFloor will enter self cleaning and take about 40 seconds to finish (it will shut off when done)
  • Remove the brush roll cover and rinse thoroughly with water
  • Remove the brush roll and use the included tool to get any hair that is entangled off of the brushes
  • Put the brush roll and 3 in 1 tool in the caddy so they can air dry before re-installing
  • Re-install everything once fully dry

Here is a quick video demonstrating all of these tasks in an easy to follow manner:
